Whismas at Whistler

Known to mountain bikers as “Whismas” the opening day of the Whistler Mountain Bike Park season is May 17, with this year marking the 25th anniversary of the bike park.

There will be celebrations of the anniversary, which will include an installation at the Whistler Museum, as well as park lore to be found throughout the park.

This season also marks the first summer with the brand new Fitzsimmons Express Chairlift, which will increase the uploading capacity from the Village and reduce wait times.

With skiing and snowboarding on Whistler Mountain open until May 20, Whismas is also a special time when its possible to ski or snowboard and ride the Whistler Mountain Bike Park in the same day!
