Enduro race trends call for faster and lighter gear. Following this inspiration, Dakine launches the new Hot Laps series. These new lumbar packs are small, compact and lightweight. They also offer versatile carry options for every kind of singletrack mission.
The Hot Laps 2L (RRP £30) is smaller and simplified for shorter rides. It keeps the breathable air mesh back panel and offset waist belt for comfort. It adds an external bottle carry and internal drop pockets.
The Hot Laps 5L (RRP £55) offers the largest feature set in the series. It includes a 2L Hydrapak lumbar reservoir with magnetic hose buckle for long rides. The offset waist buckle with stretch panel and the airflow back panel each provide added comfort. Internal sections will keep your gloves, snacks and essentials organized. The fleece lined pocket is specifically designed to protect your phone. The front attachment straps can secure a light jacket or knee pads and cinch up cleanly when not in use. The added side compression straps reduce the volume when carrying less gear. The safety light attachment will allow you to keep on riding when light gets low.
The Hot Laps Stealth (RRP £30) is designed to be worn under a jersey for concealed storage. The air mesh back panel with Polygiene odour control technology secures breathability and comfort. It includes micro-stretch waist belt for comfort and dual mesh side pockets for added breathability. You’ll also find tool, tire lever, C02 and tube specific storage, plus padded phone protection and room for your keys/wallet.
For on-bike storage, the Hot Laps Gripper (RRP £19) attaches under the seat or to multiple locations on the bike frame to house tire levers, C02 and a spare tube.
