Tirol will host the 2018 UCI Road World Championships, the races returning to Austria for the third time. Racing will take place all over Tirol with all events finishing in Tirol’s capital Innsbruck.
Preparations are well underway for the 2018 UCI Road World Championships, which will be taking place for the first time in Tirol. All in all there will be twelve races held as part of the World Championships in the disciplines Individual Time Trial, Team Time Trial and Road Race. The courses will start in different parts of Tirol and all end in the regional capital Innsbruck.
The Men’s and Women’s Team Time Trial races will both start at the Area 47 outdoor adventure centre at the start of the Ötztal Valley (23.09.). The Individual Time Trials will begin at the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens with the exception of the Elite Men Individual Time Trial, which will start in Rattenberg (24.09. to 26.09.). As for the Road Races, they will begin in the town of Kufstein; only the Women Juniors Road Race will start elsewhere, in Rattenberg (27.09. to 30.09.).
