Elevation, the Morzine based luxury self-catering chalet company, has launched a new short break in partnership with cycle specialists, Buzz Performance, that takes on the famous Col Challenge route that conquers some of the famous local passes as seen on the Tour de France; Col du Joux Plane, Col de la Ramaz and the Col De La Colombiere.
Running throughout the summer, the three days cycling is fully guided and supported with accommodation available in a variety of Elevation’s high-end chalets and apartments located within the traditional mountain resort of Morzine – just over one hour’s drive from Geneva Airport and popular with both road cyclists and mountain bikers alike.
Kathryn Leake, General Manager of Elevation Alps, explained:
“Guests have told us they want quality but affordable short breaks so they can fit more into their busy lives. Morzine is now such a popular destination for road cyclists, especially after lasts years stage of the Tour de France that finished in the town – it’s so easy to reach Morzine from the UK, so it’s ideal for a four night stay.”
Dates available throughout July, August and September, with a Thursday arrival and Sunday departure as standard (other combinations are also possible).
Four nights from €395 euros per person (based on 3 sharing a 3 bedroom self-catered apartment in Chalet Des Nants 2), welcome pack and three days guided cycling.
