From 27 January – 4 February 2018 the Swiss resort of Château-d’Oex, former home of the actor David Niven and neighbour to Gstaad, will be the venue for the International Hot Air Balloon Festival for the 40th time.
More than 70 balloons from different countries benefit from the special micro-climate and climb into the sky.
Not to be missed is the ‘Night Glow’, where twenty hot air balloons light up the Château-d’Oex night for a very special performance.
