Become a Ski Teacher and a Mountain Bike Instructor with a Dual Qualification in The Alps This Summer

If you’ve always dreamed of being a ski instructor but wondered how you’d keep busy in the summer without travelling to the southern hemisphere an all new course for 2017 offered by SnoworksGAP could be your answer.

The new four week course during the summer in the French resort of Tignes combines a BASI (British Association  of Ski Instructors) Level One qualification with a MIAS (Mountain-Bike Instructors Award Scheme) Level one and two mountain bike instructor qualification all in the one course.

“This all new course is perfect for the adrenalin junkie. Held on the snow sure glacier of Tignes, France, and in association with our good friends at Startline mountain bikes we have created the perfect dual qualification Summer GAP course,” said a SnoworksGAP spokesperson.

The course will run from June 24 to July 22, 2017 and will cost £4,950 to take part and get your dual qualifications.

The course fee includes:

3 weeks (half days) ski training, including performance training, teacher training and race training.

BASI level 1 ski instructor exam

3 weeks of half days of mountain bike training, including technical training, leadership skills, technician ability and navigation.

MIAS level 1 and 2 Mountain bike exams

4 weeks half board accommodation in a catered chalet in Tignes le lac (twin share rooms)

Return transfers to and from Geneva airport (specific times apply)

Mountain bike hire (remove £200 if your brining your own bike)

Lift pass for all 4 weeks
