Catch TUI’s newest direct flight to Mexico’s Pacific Coast

TUI, the UK’s largest holiday operator, has announced plans for a new long-haul flight programme from Manchester Airport to Mexico’s Pacific Coast.

Due to high demand, the extra flights to the Puerto Vallarta International Airport in the state of Jalisco, and also connecting the Riviera Nayarit in the state of Nayarit, will start in winter 2019. The programme includes more options for ten and eleven-night holidays.

The flights will operate on a 787 Dreamliner aircraft and are available to book now. Travellers can also book their summer 2020 holidays well in advance.

Touch down in Banderas Bay!

After 11 hours in the air, you’ll touch down in the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, ready to experience the beauty of Mexico’s Pacific Coast.

Puerto Vallarta, in the state of Jalisco, is well known for its golden sandy beaches, lively nightlife and thriving cultural heritage.

The destination spans in Banderas Bay from Marina Vallarta, the Hotel Zone, downtown (El Centro) and the South Shore, with each region boasting a distinctive charm.

You can spend your days shopping at the city centre or strolling along the Malecon, a mile-long boardwalk winding along the coast. You might even catch a glimpse of humpback whales breaching the water’s surface in Banderas Bay.

Outside of the city, you can adventure in the dense Sierra Madre jungle or zip line through the trees at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour.

Stay north in the Riviera Nayarit

As an extra incentive, Riviera Nayarit, in the state of Nayarit, is right next door.
