Les 2 Alpes is launching a new event: SNOW 2 BIKE on 27 and 28 April 2019

SNOW 2 BIKE is a new event that combines skiing and mountain biking, the 2 flagship sports of Les 2 Alpes.  On the last weekend of the winter season, team of two will start on the glacier, at 3,400m and finish in Venosc village, at 900m. 2,500m of vertical descent on skis (or telemark, monoskis or snowboard) and bike. The team must cross the finish line together. 

The aim is to have fun and enjoy the snow until the last day! Les 2 Alpes always opens until late April and offer excellent spring skiing thanks to the resort’s altitude and the work done all winter to keep the snow. Spring is an excellent time for skiing as the days are longer and warmer, the resort is less busy, and it is up to 40% cheaper than February. 

Participants will have to take part in a qualification race on Saturday 27 April. On Sunday 28, the skiers and bikers who have qualified will start the race at 3,400m at 10.00am. They will ski down, then will have to get changed as quickly as possible to get on their bikes and ride down to Venosc. A BBQ and prize ceremony will take place at 12.30 on place des 2 Alpes. It costs €100 per team (or €140 with the lift pass).
