Stay Young – Hit The Spa

A famous Swiss spa resort has introduced what it calls an “Anti-Aging Stay Young” Programme.

Grand Resort Bad Ragaz has launched the new Ragazer Anti-Aging Stay Young programme, in conjunction with the resort’s existing Ragazer Weight Loss and Ragazer Detox programmes.

Ragazer Anti-Aging Stay Young is a four-day programme, spearheaded by Dr. Christian Hoppe MD, which aims to help guests achieve a greater quality of life by attaining a “steady state”, a condition in which the body’s physiological parameters are in balance.

To launch the new anti-ageing programme, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is offering a 10% discount on all three programmes when guests start the programmes in November 2017 or February 2018 and stay at the resort for up to seven nights.

Dr Hoppe, the lead consultant of the Swiss Olympic Medical Centre at Bad Ragaz, has years of experience in treating elite athletes, managers and other performance-orientated individuals.

During the programme, Dr Hoppe will coach each guest individually to learn and understand what habits and behaviours may have a negative impact on their life expectancy and how they can potentially extend their life span.

Guests will begin the programme with a comprehensive consultation and laboratory tests for liver, kidney, thyroid, blood sugar and cholesterol levels, as well as a full blood analysis and evaluation of the cardiovascular system.

Guests will then benefit from a Ragazer Anti-Aging infusion and introductory meeting with their personal nutritionist, before a further consultation to discuss the test results. Armed with a better understanding of their bodies, guests will undergo a movement analysis and personal training session, leaving with a personal training plan to ensure they continue their health and fitness journey long after they leave Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

Using stress management, a movement concept that was developed in the resort’s Swiss Olympic Medical Centre and with the resort’s in-house culinary health brand, Cuisine Équilibrée, Dr Hoppe believes that the programme is a sustainable tool that could potentially extend a participant’s life span.

Bad Ragaz also offers the Ragazer Detox, a programme that boosts guests’ immune systems and unlocks new strength, energy and vitality through targeted detoxification. During their stay, guests on this programme will learn what toxins, pollutants and environmental factors affect their bodies and how they can effectively prevent disease.

The Ragazer Weight Loss programme helps guests reach their optimal body weight through exercise and nutrition. Guests will be given an individual weight loss diet tailored specifically to their needs, as well as six personal training sessions during their stay.

Nestled in the Heidiland region of the Swiss Alps, just an hour away from Zurich by train, Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is the ideal place to disconnect from the worries and pressures of daily routines, and to take time out to focus on yourself, returning equilibrium to your body and mind

The Ragazer Anti-Aging Stay Young programme is priced at CHF 3,990/ £3,231 (based on exchange rate at time of writing), excluding accommodation. The programme can be started daily from Monday to Thursday and requires a minimum stay of four days/ three nights at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz.

Nightly rates at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz start from £201 per person sharing a double room (based on exchange rate at time of writing). Rates include breakfast, welcome aperitif, use of the 36.5° Wellbeing & Thermal Spa area and Tamina Therme, fresh fruit and Ragaz water each day and daily fitness and relaxation lessons as well as VAT.
