The Megève Mont-Blanc Cycling event rides into the French Alps, 11-12 September 2021

The village of Megève in the French Alps hosts an impressive array of events each year, spanning countless sporting, cultural, music and family themed festivals. As Covid restrictions ease, many favourites are returning this summer, including the Megève Mont-Blanc Cyclingevent, which combines endurance, freedom and accessibility.

The organisers are working with the cycling champion Nicolas Roux, who has devised four unique races, ranging from a 60km route through to a challenging 165km course. The races cover the disciplines of Cyclosportive, Gravelbike and e-Biking, and cater to a whole host of abilities. Furthermore, there is a dedicated kids racing programme, with a 400m course for five- and six-year-olds, all the way up to a 15km race for teenagers. Registration is now open, with adult entries costing from €38 pp (£32.50 pp), and child entries costing just €10 pp (£8.50 pp).

A seven-night self-catered stay at Pierre & Vacances’ Residence Le Mont d’Arbois in Megève, in a studio apartment that sleeps two people, arriving 8 September 2021, is priced from £217 per apartment. Return flights from London Gatwick to Geneva on those dates are priced from £50 pp with EasyJet.
