Registration for the Fitbit Semi de Paris, to be held on 4 March, 2018 begins this Tuesday 12 September from eight in the morning.
“This half-marathon constitutes an ideal early season challenge and a stimulating incentive for both confirmed runners as well as those less proficient, to stay in shape throughout autumn and winter!” said an event spokesperson, adding, “It’s a great event for experienced runners, a giant step forward for the novices!”
The 21.1km race will be an ideal occasion for confirmed runners to test their effectiveness after a few months of specific training in the dead of winter.
But a half-marathon is also a reasonable and ambitious goal for those who are new to the sport… or those who want to take a big step forward after completing a few 10ks.
Does the challenge seem too difficult after weeks of winter hibernation?
A training programme and health tips are now available on the event’s website for your training.
The community of runners on the Fitbit Semi de Paris social networks are also essential for disseminating a few “tips” to guide and convince those who might still be doubting!
In 2017, no less than 47,000 runners entered for the first meeting of the season, the 2nd most popular running event in terms of participants in France, second only to the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris.
It all gets underway this Tuesday 12 September from eight in the morning on www.asochallenges.com: the sprint has begun!
