07.07.2026From the Women’s T20 World Cup and European Athletics to Aardman’s 50th birthday, Pride celebrations, new live-action attractions and castle-stage...
After an incredibly long and record breaking season Mammoth Mountain has announced the closing date for this season: August 6th!
This still leaves some time for August skiing which is not something you can experience every year. The snow base is currently 15-76cm with Face Lift Express, Chair 23 and the gondola operating from 7:30a-noon daily with access to 10 upper mountain trails.
This is the second longest season in terms of length, the longest was 1994-1995 when Mammoth Mountain opened in October and closed August 14.
Fear not, even though the lifts will close to skiers, the resort boasts an amazing mountain bike terrain with trails for all levels and we are looking forward to welcoming back the snow lovers in November!
