This month, after 60 days on water – adventurer Sian Sykes became the first person to paddleboard around the whole of Wales in order to raise awareness of plastic pollution in our world’s beautiful surroundings.
In honour of Sian’s incredible achievement, why not check out Wales’ top three spectacular attractions where you can try stand-up paddleboarding for yourself – even in the dark!
Standing on a paddleboard in the middle of Lake Llyn Padarn whilst being surrounded by the snow-capped mountain ranges of Glyderau and Snowdon makes Psyched paddle boarding a favorite for outdoor activities. If you’re feeling adventurous try your hand at the night-time expedition. Lights attached to the bottom of the boards, so you can see the secret hidden gems of the lake whilst taking in the stars of Snowdonia’s dark sky status.
