Following a successful first winter season in the Dragon’s Lair chalet, Jasna Adventures has launched new summer cycling packages for mountain bikers and road cyclists in and around the mountain resort of Jasna.
Known for its value for money ski offering, Jasna is fast becoming a destination for mountain bikers and cyclists in search of the same value, without compromising quality, during the summer months. The mountain bike terrain around Jasna includes a combination of lift-serviced downhill riding, single track and cross country trails. For ‘roadies’, local roads and paths provide the opportunity for scenic long distance day rides and classic mountain climbs. A summer schedule of events such as the Slovakian Downhill Mountain Bike Championships and major triathlons are now attracting many enthusiasts and professionals from all over Europe.
To launch their cycling holidays, a special offer is available for bookings made before Tuesday May 15, 2018 with a 30% discount off the normal price.
Price: £300 per person (normally £463), including, five nights accommodation in The Dragon’s Lair, cooked breakfast, four days of guided MTB cycling, on call road support, return transfers from Poprad Tatry Airport, local transportation for restaurants and waterpark, daily musette (goodie bag), cycle jersey and water bottle (price based on 4 adults in shared occupancy).

Jasna and the surrounds offers a mixture of terrain that includes fast, flat cross country rides, to single track and all mountain enduro, mainly located at the ski resort of Jasna with plenty of climbs and fast descents. Routes take in some great scenery including natural springs, mountain passes, rivers and valley forests.
The profile of the course varies from day to day, with the natural surroundings providing a mix of faster flat courses, rolling hills, or high mountain passes with climbing and descending.
Routes are based on guests’ preference and level of fitness.
Post ride afternoons can include yoga sessions, relaxing in local thermal pools, swimming in the lake, or taking on the rail toboggan, high rope activities, or a therapeutic massage in the chalet.
Bikes can be hired or brought in and secure indoor bike storage is available at the chalet.
