Inghams Walking Launch New Guided Walks Across 13 European Resorts

The Best Guided Walks

Switzerland: Kandersteg

💚 Why we love Kandersteg? Discover the remote valley of Gasterntal

A trip to the Gasterntal is like entering another world – one of vast mountain panoramas and nature. The road into the valley is chiselled into the rock, and is so narrow it’s only passable one direction at a time. After a bit of twisting, turning and a few rock tunnels the trail emerges into the valley with incredible views. This walk starts from the Waldhaus Hut, and follows the valley to Selden and Gasthaus Heimritz, winding past waterfalls, suspension bridges and spectacular views.
