This autumn, Ellis Brigham Mountain Sports and British Exploring Society have partnered to present ‘Tales of Endurance’ – an unmissable series of talks from three BES alumni focusing on overcoming challenges, exploration and adventure.
3 Oct 2018 – Alex Gregory holds 7 Guinness World Records, 2 Olympic Gold Medals in Rowing, is an Arctic Explorer and more recently author of Dadventures.
16 Oct 2018 – Vijay Shah is a climber and arctic explorer in his spare time while working as an aerospace engineer (which led him to a place on last year’s BBC Astronauts: Do You Have What it Takes?).
5 Nov 2018 – Zanna Baker completed an expedition on foot across Antarctica – part of the first all female team to do this. She is a regional advisor for the British Army, speaks multiple languages and has travelled extensively.
The talks will take place in the Ellis Brigham flagship store, 10-12 Southampton St, Covent Garden, London WC2E 7HA.
Tickets are £10 with all proceeds going to British Exploring Society, a youth development charity founded on the belief that challenging experiences can change lives, empowering and equipping young people with the courage, skills, resilience and determination to make the most of their future.
